My long-time workhorse Celestron SCT Ultima
Purchased specifically for long exposure imaging, this scope forms the prime scope of the observatory
Often used as a guidescope and for planetary work. A lovely piece of kit that is designed to have a camera directly attached to its back-end
This is the solid little scope I haul around everywhere. It also doubles as a guide scope on the SCT. Maks are very rugged and difficult to misalign.
A gift to myself a few years ago after an injury slowed me down for a bit. Not used much except when I get too many visitors for inside.
Current set-up 2022
At the moment the mount is carrying the Celestron C9.25 with the ATIK OSC camera and Celestron auto focuser.
Piggybacked on that is the Skywatcher 80 Black Diamond with the ZWO mono, EFW and focuser.
In the finder mount of the C9.25 is the Orion 60 and the QHY 5iim for guiding via PHD2.
The visual finder scope has been removed and a Telrad fixed to the side of the C9.25.
